It's good to hear, but I'll believe it when I see it man. I haven't yet... I mean Djoos 81 just went for $3M now, yet last season I couldn't move Abdelkader from Vegas to Brooklyn when he was an 80 because his contract was $4M+ and he allegedly had 'negative value', even though he had value to Brooklyn, yet now we're signing very similar contracts ourselves. It just doesn't seem right. Sorry. LMAO "similar": Djoos 81 OFD (25) 3m 2022 <- will not be downgraded during his contract, playing top 4, contract ends at age 28 Abdelkader 80 GRN (32) 4.25m 2023 <- was already downgraded, makes 1.25m more, extra year on contract, plays a position where there are more 80+ players, contract ends at age 36 Get over it man. You're just wrong. No I'm not wrong. There's no guarantee that any player won't be downgraded once they've reached their development ceiling at 23. Plus, Abdelkader is a PWF, not a GRN there bud. If he was a GRN, he probably wouldn't have been downgraded under this system. lol |

Let them offer that i knew i wanted to offer for him but i was thinking 10-11M or something in that area but damn 16.5M ouch a bit much. That's what I mean... And about where I was at too with what I was going to offer. I dig he's back in Ottawa, even though he should be in Vegas.. 😜 But we're pushing $17M for one player now... 83s are getting $6M FFS. lol We're going to need $150M+ as cap if this keeps up. Ottawa still has 10M in cap space. I don't see why he wouldn't offer this. To be honest, Karlsson is probably worth 11-12M. So he paid a 33% premium, a short enough contract. Iunno, it seems believable to me. And if you're going to say I overpaid on Gardiner... I signed him for 1 year and have 42M in cap space. So ya know |
