RFA Status:
If a player is 24 years old and under at the END of their contract, they will be RFA Status.
Ex. 1 IS RFA
LW Paul Blart PWF 82 1.5M RFA 2023 (21)
Lets say its 2020, so by 2023 Paul Blart will be 24 at the end of his contract, so therefore is an RFA.
Ex. 2 IS NOT RFA
LW Deuce Bigalo PLY 82 1.5M UFA 2023 (22)
Lets again say its 2020, so by 2023 Deuce will be 25, so he is NOT RFA, and is UFA status.
Edit - to clarify, this means if the player is 24 years old during the regular season and is due to be a FA at the end of the year, they are a UFA. If a player is 23 years old, they are a RFA. All rosters on HES have been adjusted to fit how it works here on HES.
